I’ve always been interested in photographs. As a child I would spend hours looking through old family albums in sepia and black-and-white tones. Ghosts from the past staring back at me from the pages reminding me of things in my own past or showing me things from the past of family and friends. In those old times most pictures were taken by professionals or at least serious hobbyists, mainly because it was unusual for a family to own a camera. Only later on did I begin to appreciate the art of Photography and its role in society as art, journalism or simply as a reminder of good times had with people you love. No matter how faded or out of focus or even badly composed, each photo tells a story about the photographer as well as the subject.
